Surprise!

Last night I went to a surprise 50th birthday party for Monica at Barosa. Her daughter Emily planned the event and it all went very well. We had carafes of white and red, appetizers of clams, mussels, caprese and antipasto. Everyone ordered their own main dishes: soft shelled crab francese; penne arrabiata; sausage and broccoli rabe; seafood risotto; filet of sole...We sang happy birthday over dessert: cheese cake; profiterols and tiramisu. It was the first time sitting downstairs and it is a bit cramped and gets noisy, but no real problems. It was a nice ladies night out!
