Dinner at the Polikoffs

Saturday night December 3rd, we had fifteen (yes, count 'em...15) friends for dinner.

We started with:  Ciao Angelo and Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses-as usual-with balsamic glaze for dipping; olives; pepperdews; soppressata and bread.  We also had a plate of smoked salmon over caper-dill sauce on brown bread-way yummy!  Of course there was red wine, white wine, cocktails, bourbon, beer and scotch (and soda for the under 21 crowd).

Dinner was:  Country Greek salad; string beans with garlic and oil; roasted fingerling potatoes and a ten pound boneless prime rib roast slathered in mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Au Jus on the side of course.

We had a GREAT time. Photos to follow!
